Frequently asked questions

If yours is not here, ask. We would rather explain now than surprise you later.

Ask us something else
Which level do I need?

Core support suits routine, well-defined administration such as data entry, CRM updates and calendar management. Experienced support suits broader work that needs judgement, such as outbound calls, supplier contact and marketing. Specialist roles cover design, video and technical work. Senior and management roles, such as team leads and project managers, are quoted for your role. If you are unsure, we recommend a level once we have talked through the work.

How quickly can we start?

Recruitment and onboarding can take up to 28 working days, depending on the role, the experience needed and candidate availability. We choose carefully rather than quickly, and give you a realistic timeline for your brief.

Are there setup fees or long-term contracts?

Two one-off fees per role: sourcing at £300 and setup at £500, both plus VAT. After that you pay for the hours worked. There is no long-term commitment: you start with a 3-month trial, then move to a 3-month rolling contract.

Is my assistant dedicated or shared?

Dedicated. Each assistant works only with your business during the agreed hours. We do not offer shared assistants.

What hours do assistants work?

We align the schedule with your working hours, typically between 7am and 5pm UK time. If you need different hours, raise it in the discovery call and we will discuss what is possible.

Can I ask for specific skills or industry experience?

Yes. We recruit against your brief, including the tools you use and experience in sectors such as property, e-commerce, marketing or technical support.

How are hours and work tracked?

Time tracking and task management tools record the hours worked and what was done. You can see both, and your account contact is there for feedback.

What if the assistant is not the right fit?

Tell your account contact. You can ask for a replacement at any time, under the service terms set out in your proposal.

Are rates different for specialised work?

Yes. Specialist roles are £7.50 to £8.50 an hour plus VAT, senior and management roles are quoted, and roles that need higher-spec equipment may have a higher setup fee. We confirm both before you commit, never afterwards.

How is a month calculated, and is VAT included?

Our illustrations use 176 hours for full-time: 8 hours a day across 22 working days. Your actual hours are agreed in your proposal and billed against tracked time. All prices exclude VAT, which is added at the UK rate.
